We live in an ocean of waves—light waves, sound waves, the radio waves on which our devices interface. Our bodies are full of waves—currents of pumping blood, inhales and exhales, waves of emotion. We need the space around our bodies to be our body-boats, allowing us to feel the ocean rock us without letting the ocean flood us—drown us. How else will we sail through the ups and downs of life?
